There is never a dull moment here: from varied hikes through nature, shopping trips to the nearby city of Bolzano, cultural discoveries, or a relaxing wine tasting in our cellar. You can design your stay entirely according to your personal wishes.
Our farm is surrounded by orchards, vineyards, a lovingly maintained herb garden, and a sunbathing lawn with a cozy pergola. It is the perfect place to relax, enjoy the sun, and spend quality time with your family.
Sun loungers and umbrellas are available on our lawn. Our younger guests also feel completely at home here. The Plattnerhof is not only our family home but also home to many animals such as cats, rabbits, chickens, and quails.
Discover the diversity of South Tyrol. We are happy to provide you with information material and books about the region, its people, and its culture. A covered parking space is also available directly at the farm for your car.

From our farm, you can easily reach many beautiful excursion destinations and sights. The city of Bolzano, with its cultural highlights such as the Archaeological Museum and Walther Park, is only a few kilometers away and invites you to stroll, shop, and enjoy its atmosphere.
With the Bolzano Card, you can use public transport throughout South Tyrol free of charge and conveniently discover many more places. A particularly recommended experience is the Ritten cable car: once at the top, you can explore the Ritten plateau or hike to the impressive earth pyramids.
The village of San Genesio can also be reached within just a few minutes. There you will find beautiful hiking trails, including the Salten, one of the most stunning high plateaus in South Tyrol.
For culinary experiences, we recommend the nearby Rafenstein Castle, only about 3 minutes away and even reachable on foot. In addition, you will find numerous other restaurants in the direction of San Genesio and Bolzano. Upon arrival, you will find further information in our farm folder.
